Do you know that there is a place that does drive through tacos and margaritas?! What’s not to love?

Even more amazing were the sheer numbers of staff working there, all seamlessly doing there bit in a really tight space, delivering fast yummy food.

It was different, it was fun, it was clever.

✴ Then, I saw the values on the wall. BINGO. These guys have nailed it.

This is such a great example of really putting values to work. It’s clear what they are, what they mean in practice and what’s expected. They are unique, real and visual.

It got me thinking about most organisational values, which are traditionally pretty stiff and generic on the whole. It's time to take a more real and relaxed approach to organisational values so that they resonate, and truly contribute to developing culture as intended.

💠 Whilst well-meaning and honourable, do single words like ‘integrity’ or ‘collaboration’ truly represent your beautifully unique and wonderful workplace?

💠Do your values really declare what matters most and explain how to translate them into action?

If you’re going to create values in your organisation, it's worth getting creative to really leverage them and build your culture.

💡Do you have an example of valuable values?
