They need to space to work though the adaptive challenges they are facing, with relevant tools weaved in as required.
At the moment, we have complex and volatile external environments, never-ending need for accelerated delivery, the introduction of AI, multi-generational and dispersed teams along with a melting pot of political and religious tensions bubbling away beneath the surface.
Throw in performance challenges, lack of clarity and direction and an exhausted workforce, it's difficult to get anything done at all.
Teams need to continuously adapt - their thinking, their ways of working, their communications, their direction, their leadership....and this is practically impossible without the space and time together to do so.
I take a quarterly approach, looking at what's happening right now, what's the focus for the next 90 days, in the context of the broader organisational strategy and vision.
It's the opportunity to share current challenges and carve a way forward in real time. To explore where people are getting stuck, where they need clarity, confidence or a process to follow to move them forward.
If wheels seems to be spinning or stopping, your team might need help to cut through the noise and focus on what matters most.
