Why 360-degree feedback?

Love them or loathe them, 360 degree feedback is a feature of most leadership journeys. But why?

Firstly: They build AWARENESS, which is the first critical step of any behavioural change. Awareness of unknown or underplayed strengths, of blind spots and of relevant areas for development.

Secondly: They are not just a debrief, but a coaching session that helps leaders to develop ACCEPTANCE and clarity about what to keep, stop and start doing to be more satisfied and effective.

Thirdly: They lead to ACTION, by defining the most important things to focus on immediately to become more confident and capable.

When a positive shift is experienced across a cohort of leaders, the collective result has a powerful impact on leaders, their teams and the business.

Q: If you've had a 360 before, what did you learn?
